Job chapter 035
Bible Chinese Union Revised VersionUpdated King James Version (UKJV)KJV
Elihu spoke moreover, and said, Elihu spake moreover, and said,
Think you this to be right, that you said, My righteousness is more than God's? Thinkest thou this to be right, that thou saidst, My righteousness is more than God's?
我罪若被潔淨(if I be cleansed from my sin)有什麼好處呢? For you said, What advantage will it be unto you? and, What profit shall I have, if I be cleansed from my sin? For thou saidst, What advantage will it be unto thee? and, What profit shall I have, if I be cleansed from my sin?
I will answer you, and your companions with you. I will answer thee, and thy companions with thee.
Look unto the heavens, and see; and behold the clouds which are higher than you. Look unto the heavens, and see; and behold the clouds which are higher than thou.
If you sin, what do you against him? or if your transgressions be multiplied, what do you unto him? If thou sinnest, what doest thou against him? or if thy transgressions be multiplied, what doest thou unto him?
If you be righteous, what give you him? or what receives he of your hand? If thou be righteous, what givest thou him? or what receiveth he of thine hand?
Your wickedness may hurt a man as you are; and your righteousness may profit the son of man. Thy wickedness may hurt a man as thou art; and thy righteousness may profit the son of man.
By reason of the multitude of oppressions they make the oppressed to cry: they cry out by reason of the arm of the mighty. By reason of the multitude of oppressions they make the oppressed to cry: they cry out by reason of the arm of the mighty.
卻無人說:造我的神在哪裡?他使人夜間歌唱, But none says, Where is God my maker, who gives songs in the night; But none saith, Where is God my maker, who giveth songs in the night;
Who teaches us more than the beasts of the earth, and makes us wiser than the fowls of heaven? Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and maketh us wiser than the fowls of heaven?
There they cry, but none gives answer, because of the pride of evil men. There they cry, but none giveth answer, because of the pride of evil men.
Surely God will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it. Surely God will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it.
Although you says you shall not see him, yet judgment is before him; therefore trust you in him. Although thou sayest thou shalt not see him, yet judgment is before him; therefore trust thou in him.
但如今因不是那樣(it is not so),他發怒(he hath visited in his anger),也不甚理會極大的絕境(great extremity), But now, because it is not so, he has visited in his anger; yet he knows it not in great extremity: But now, because it is not so, he hath visited in his anger; yet he knoweth it not in great extremity:
所以約伯開口說虛妄的話,多發無知識的言語。 Therefore does Job open his mouth in vain; he multiplies words without knowledge. Therefore doth Job open his mouth in vain; he multiplieth words without knowledge.
