Proverbs chapter 001
Bible Chinese Union Revised VersionUpdated King James Version (UKJV)KJV
以色列王大卫儿子所罗门的箴言: The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel; The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel;
要使人晓得智慧和训诲,分辨通达的言语, To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding; To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;
使人处事领受智慧、仁义、公平、正直的训诲, To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity; To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;
To give subtlety to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion. To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.
A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels: A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:
使人明白箴言和譬喻,懂得智慧人的言词和谜语。 To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings. To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
我儿,要听你父亲的训诲,不可离弃你母亲的法则(law); My son, hear the instruction of your father, and forsake not the law of your mother: My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:
因为这要作你头上的华冠,你项上的金炼。 For they shall be an ornament of grace unto your head, and chains about your neck. For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck.
My son, if sinners entice you, consent you not. My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.
If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privately for the innocent without cause: If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause:
我们好像坟墓(grave),把他们活活吞下;他们如同下坑的人,被我们囫囵吞了; Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down into the pit: Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down into the pit:
我们必得各样宝物,将所掳来的,装满房屋; We shall find all precious substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil: We shall find all precious substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil:
你与我们大家同分,我们共用一个囊袋; Cast in your lot among us; let us all have one purse: Cast in thy lot among us; let us all have one purse:
我儿,不要与他们同行一道,禁止你脚走他们的路。 My son, walk not you in the way with them; refrain your foot from their path: My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path:
因为,他们的脚奔跑行恶;他们急速流人的血, For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood. For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood.
Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird. Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird.
And they lay wait for their own blood; they lurk privately for their own lives. And they lay wait for their own blood; they lurk privily for their own lives.
So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which takes away the life of the owners thereof. So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof.
Wisdom cries without; she utters her voice in the streets: Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets:
在热闹街头喊叫,在城门口,在城中发出言语, She cries in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she utters her words, saying, She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying,
How long, all of you simple ones, will all of you love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge? How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?
Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.
我呼唤,你们不肯听从;我伸手,无人理会; Because I have called, and all of you refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;
But all of you have set at nothing all my counsel, and refused my reproof: But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:
你们遭灾难,我就发笑;惊恐临到你们,我必嗤笑。 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear comes; I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;
When your fear comes as desolation, and your destruction comes as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish comes upon you. When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.
Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:
因为,你们恨恶知识,不喜爱敬畏耶和华, For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:
不听我的劝戒,藐视我一切的责备, They refused my counsel: they despised all my reproof. They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.
Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.
For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them. For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.
But whoso hearkens unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil. But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.
